I adore High Park! Cherry Blossom season is spectacular.
This past weekend, I was able to take advantage of bluebird skies and warm weather – it felt like Spring was closer than ever! Toronto’s largest public park – High Park – is a short drive down the road from my house, so my roommate and I decided to go check it out.
While we didn’t see blooming flowers or autumn leaves, and we left with mud-covered boots, we were still able to get a glimpse of how beautiful this space will be come summer time. Spanning 399 acres, High Park is known for having almost everything in one – gorgeous picnic areas, a lakefront trail, cherry trees, and even a zoo. The park is also home to six tennis courts, three baseball diamonds, two soccer fields, and an outdoor pool.
